In order to comply with this request, the article a cooperation network to help carry out this vital activity for Aymara and Quechua communities living in Santiago.
Finally, this Saturday August 29th, we shared the historic moment when the Andean people are reunited with the mountain custody of the Santiago basin (Lead). A moment that this cultural landscape was waiting for 500 years.
The activity began at dawn in the Pucara de Chena, then we moved to the Natural History Museum for a special visit with blessings for Cerro Inca Child Lead. The day ended in Turn 33 Farellones way, where we made a special offering for the Mountain indented above. All objects and situations were full of symbolism, music accompanied us and we share a magical experience.
Through this initiative, we have opened a door that returns its ritual significance to this portion of the Andes. This is an invitation to continue working to rescue and preserve the the mountains.
The invitation is already done, we continue to work with always encourage the recovery and preservation of cultural and natural heritage of our municipality.
